Dr Joshua Au Yeung is a Specialty Registrar in Neurology working in London who recently undertook an Out Of Programme Experience (OOPE) as a Clinical Research Fellow in Artificial Intelligence to gain a deeper understanding of AI in healthcare. This involved working with a team called "Cogstack" operating primarily in Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and King's College Hospital, an NHS-grown group that works to implement natural language processing (text-based AI) into clinical departments.
Dr Marilena Giannoudi is a Cardiology Registrar based in Leeds. She is a member of the Trainees and Members’ Committee, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and is currently undertaking a PhD.
